And I would give you every last breath till there's nothing left" are heard. Everyone's emotional reactions can be seen while the lyrics "cuz I would walk through the fire. When Archie is escorted from the court after his guilty plea, 'Walk Through The Fire' by Klergy is the song playing. Klergy feat BELLSAINT - 'Walk Through The Fire' Whatever is still to come, though, hopefully Archie, Jughad, Betty, and Veronica will figure it out together.'Youngblood' is the song that is playing when Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Jughead are driving down the road in his car on the way to go swimming. There's also no guarantee that the gang won't drift apart again after being reunited in "Fire Walk With Me," and Riverdale has a messy tangle of storylines to tidy up by the end of season 3. The speed at which Kevin went from being a level-headed, intelligent teen to being completely and utterly brainwashed by the Farm is somewhat absurd, and this latest turn of events is frustrating for fans who are waiting for Kevin to get a decent storyline. That's not to say that the show is without any other problems. And we finally got to see all four characters in a room together at the same time. Betty finally got some support from her friends, each of whom offered to let them stay with them if her mother succeeded in selling the house. "Fire Walk With Me" finally managed to tie Archie's storyline back into the Gargoyle King mystery and remind audiences that he's still marked for death. To its credit, Riverdale does seem to be trying to turn things around as it moves towards the final stretch of season 3. Is Edgar Evernever the Gargoyle King (the reference to "Ascension" within the Farm certainly seems like a link)? Or is Hiram Lodge the Gargoyle King? These seem like the kind of discussions that the gang should be having around milkshakes at Pop's, but instead they're all dealing with different questions on their own. For a while Riverdale had the makings of a good mystery - figuring out the connection (if one exists at all) between the Gargoyle King, the Man in Black, and the Farm leader Edgar Evernever. With the focus shifting so frequently and the different storylines so discordant, it's difficult to get invested in any particular one of them. Aside from a brief conversation between Betty and Jughead, there were no scenes between members of the core four in that episode. "Requiem for a Welterweight" bounced around between Archie's fight drama, Jughead's struggle to recruit new Serpents, Veronica's dealings with her father and Gladys Jones, and Cheryl and Toni's rocky first days as leaders of the Pretty Poisons. Riverdale Season 3's Storylines Feel DisconnectedĪside from it simply being frustrating to watch Riverdale's once close-knit group drift apart into their own little worlds, it also means that Riverdale feels like a bunch of different shows at once, which seem to be only loosely connected.
